Why Aseptiskin Is Irreplaceable in Our Peeling Protocols

The use of Aseptiskin is not optional but essential in all of our peeling procedures. Substituting it with cheaper alternatives may seem like saving one euro per dose, but in reality, it compromises both safety and results.

  • A gesture of refinement: Patients seeking a private aesthetic treatment expect a level of class and sophistication. Using Aseptiskin reflects that standard of excellence.

  • No alcohol, no risks: Unlike many substitutes that are alcohol-based, Aseptiskin does not interfere with the delicate balance of our metabolic peels. Alcoholic products must never be used, as they can trigger dangerous chemical reactions.

  • Avoid esterification damage: Alcohol-based solutions may react with our peeling formulations through esterification. Clinically, this appears as large, visible skin stains that can persist for about one month and cannot be treated during that period.

  • Superior to “cosmetic solutions”: Aseptiskin eliminates the need for useless products such as tonics, make-up removers, cleansing milks, and similar formulations. These so-called “solutions” are not only unprofessional in the medical context, but they also maintain skin problems such as pimples and acne, which should never be stimulated before a peeling.

  • Protecting the protocol: A single careless substitution undermines the scientific reliability and predictability of the entire peeling process.

In short, saving one euro by replacing Aseptiskin is not only stupid and ridiculous, it jeopardizes the whole protocol and puts patients at risk of unsightly complications.

For patients: If you undergo a peeling treatment, you should accept only Aseptiskin as the preparation step. Refuse any alternative products—especially alcohol-based solutions, tonics, cleansing milks, or similar cosmetic substitutes—as they can seriously damage your results and even worsen skin conditions such as acne.
