Pores

Pores are small openings or holes in a surface ( here the skin)

Tiny openings on the surface of the skin that allow sweat and oil (sebum) to reach the surface from glands beneath the skin. There are two main types:

  • Sweat pores: Connected to sweat glands.

  • Sebaceous pores: Connected to oil glands and hair follicles.
