Advanced Peels

Advanced peels are chemical peeling procedures designed to act beyond the superficial epidermal layers, targeting more complex skin conditions that require deeper and more selective biological stimulation.
They are typically indicated when superficial exfoliation alone is insufficient to address visible skin alterations.

These peels may be used in the management of:

  • moderate dyschromia and more persistent hyperpigmentation

  • textural irregularities and uneven skin relief

  • early to moderate signs of photoaging

  • selected inflammatory or post-inflammatory skin conditions

Advanced peels require precise formulation, controlled application, and appropriate patient selection.
When used correctly, they allow targeted correction while maintaining a favorable safety profile within structured aesthetic protocols.

Important: “Superficial” and “advanced” are functional categories. Actual depth is anatomy-dependent (e.g., eyelids vs nasal tip) and protocol-dependent. Read why depth-only labels can be misleading.
